We're Sean and Marty. At What We Like Today our goal is finding the things that inspire and bring people together -- in other words, products that make people happy.
You'll find gifts that are fun and educational for kids, activities that bring generations together, and traditions in the making. Plus everyday things like positive-vibe tshirts and towels.
Our newsletter does share great deals, and you'll be the first to hear about them, along with inspiration for family activities and even our experiment with vanlife/tiny living.
We consider our customers and readers part of the What We Like Today family and hope you'll feel the same way.
Parents of 8, we are now empty nesters without a home nest so we split our time between our van, a Hawaiian cottage and hopeully someday, a sailboat. With the kids spread out over Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Utah we decided we'd better be able to travel.
As our family grew, so did the amount of stuff we had. Like many, we often donated or threw out things that no longer had purpose for us. But somehow, we always replaced those items with even more. A few years ago we heard about "minimalism." There is no one-size-fits-all, but the idea of only having what we needed and loved made a lot of sense to us. Our blog goes into the details of our story, but in a nutshell, we're living tiny and loving it. We still have a lot to figure out, but one thing is for sure: no regrets.
